Two year plan, part one

The next couple of years feels, to me, like a bit of a mish mash. I've never released two series at the same time before, so before I go into all of that, I wanted to talk about it a little.

Before that, have you read The Sotul’s Disgrace yet? Did you enjoy it, comment below and let me know.

The Sotul's Disgrace is the introductory story to the Rulers series which launches in September starting with The Pack’s Bride. Remember Thelan, the sexist Adosian who saved Zoe from the tentacled guy in The Thief’s Dark? Thelan identified Pyri as his mate and in The Pack’s Bride we see how well Pyri falls into line in a misogynistic society. Erm, yeah, Pyri is an unstoppable force meeting an immovable object. It’s going to be… fun?

Anyway, as I said above, I want to discuss my plans for the next period because starting this year, I’m releasing two series. Rulers and Klevian Warriors.

There is a lot of information to impart, so I’m going to break it down to two blog posts. This first one will give release dates and talk about Klevian Warriors a little. The next blog post will go into Rulers and discuss the first arc set in this world, the one we've been exploring since Renegades. This is the story that was set into motion when the Cealin invaded Earth and stole over fifty thousand men in an hour, but I'll go into that in a fortnight.

Varimar is the opening for the Klevian Warriors series and is already out. If you haven’t read this story yet, you can download it here for a newsletter sign up, or buy it here from Amazon for 99c. This is a super quick 10k word introduction to the series and to this world. Klevian Warriors is set in an entirely different universe than the Tessans and is set in a closer time period to ours where humans are trapped in a cold war with a war-like alien race.

An abridged version of Tacori was released in the Alien Embrace anthology in August last year. This year sees the full version of Tacori, with an extra 26k words on the story you may have already read on coming out on June 1st. Tacori had some amazing reviews from new and established readers alike. I got such a great response to it, it was thrilling to see new readers fall in love with this flawed hero and intriguing new world. I know it’s been a while since we saw him, but the additional 26k words adds whole new chapters, scenes and additional context about touch bonding and the mate bond, including the mythology around it which will continue through the whole series.

On September 1st, The Pack’s Bride will be released.

December 1st will see the second full length Klevian Warriors book out. Galidin continues the story and will explore the nature of bias. I have this story already plotted out to an outrageous degree. Galidin is whispering in my ear to the point where he’s disturbing writing of The Pack’s Bride. This guys is not happy with waiting.

The Ilia’s Lovers will launch March 1st, 2023.

Teyr will follow on directly from Galidin. I really don’t want to say too much at this point, just that he’s a tough nut to crack, but the heroine has a way of growing through solid places, like a flower growing through cement. She’ll crack that nut, though it might take Teyr a while to realise it.

Following that one is another Klevian novel, Korvalin. Korvalin is second only to Kerrin in his hostility towards humans. We’ll see how long that lasts once he meets his mate.

Going back to the Tessan universe, the Cealin prince, Devorak’s, book is coming out December 1st 2023.

Kerrin will be out March 2024, which is ages away, but it is coming. I have a plan. Kerrin has a lot of prejudice to overcome to be with his human and she is terrified of Klevians. It’s a great match! XD.

Finally, The Warlord’s Word will come out June 1st, 2024 and The King’s Deal on September 1st, 2024. That will round out the first five books of the Rulers series before we switch back to Warriors for a few books.

Okay, I’ve given a few teases there. Ooops! I’ll give a few more in two weeks for my next blog post, but this time for Rulers and for this arc of the Tessan universe.

Meanwhile, you can preorder Tacori and The Pack’s Bride on Amazon.

What book are you most looking forward to?
