Two year plan, part two

In my last blog post, I went into detail about what to expect in terms of release for the next two years and I gave a few teasers for Klevian Warriors, the books and what to expect.

This week, I’m going to do the same for Rulers.

You already have the release dates for them all, but here’s a small reminder.

Untitled Warriors novel – December 1st, 2024.

Rulers is, thematically, closer to Renegades than Warriors, but they’re all a part of the same arc which I’m calling Invasion Earth.

There will be more than five novels in this series, just as there will be more than five novels in Warriors. Altogether, to finish this arc, I have fourteen more books planned, set between Warriors, Rulers and one introductory book for Villains. This will be a redemption arc for a character you’ve glimpsed a couple of times, but not actually properly met yet. He will be appearing as a minor villain in one of the rulers books. The reason his book is being introduced way earlier than the rest of the Villains series is because his book is pivotal to the Invasion Earth arc. But that won’t be for a while yet.

Okay, enough of that. Let’s pull all of that right back to the first five Rulers books.

You’ve met most of the males who’ll be the heroes of these books in one book or another.

For the Pack’s Bride, Pyri Bjornsdottir finds herself claimed by a pack of five males. Thelan, who identified her as his mate in The Thief’s Dark, along with the Adosian representative of the IGC who appeared on the council in The Bounty Hunter’s Honour, Kemar. You will meet the other three in September, though I will be doing little teasers for it come August.

Of course you’ve met Ilan Dahnus Ascendi and his adalan lover Hadith a few times. If you read the bonus epilogue for The Runaway’s Escape, you also had a glimpse of Elaine’s four lovers. These are males of three different bonding species bonded to the Ilia to protect her. It’s going to cause some personal issues in The Ilia’s Lovers, on top of everything else Dahnus and his family will have to deal with on his world as he tries to uncover corruption while dealing with the IGC and the coming war. If you haven’t read the bonus epilogue, you can download that here.

Next in the Rulers series is The Ice King’s Heart. I know this is a super anticipated story. Devorak first appeared at the end of The Mercenary’s Dawn as the Cealin prince who flirted with Alethia while he defected to the Protectorate and then again in The Smuggler’s Radiant teaching Rhona that individuals aren’t a stereotype of their race, but we haven’t seen him since. He will be appearing in The Ilia’s Lovers, so we can have a catch up with him before he goes off to Cealis to claim his throne. I have whole scenes of his book planned out. I know every location by heart and his future queen is a goddess who I adore. I can’t wait for you to read it! I’ve tried to fit it into my writing schedule for the last two years, but it just wasn’t the right time. However, it’s now penned in for a December 2023 release, because when else do you release a book set on an ice world, but Christmas?

After that is the size shifting Ilidar Kaita who was introduced in The Thief’s Dark. The one who could change the size of his… ahem… yeah, that! Kalidan will find his HEA in The Warlord’s Word, while reclaiming the rule of his people. His little human is a wily, intelligent, light fingered female with a love of puzzles, which is good, because not only is Kalidan a puzzle, he’s also a big idiot. So, obviously, I love him.

Finally for The King’s Deal we’ll be going to the Enhari home world for General Arduan’s story. You’ll remember him as the Enhari who freed Vedian from his internment as a prisoner of war, and later showed up to help Vedian and his family end Drexan Thalos. His human is the start of a new future for the Enhari and he intends on making that future a reality.

There is something about the Enhari; their biology, their history, their culture, everything is in the extreme with them. I can’t wait to share Arduan’s world with you.

That’s the first five Rulers books. Three of them will directly lead to Warriors books, though I’m not sure which I'll be picking up first, though there is a certain scarred Protectorate hybrid with missing memories and burgeoning telepathy who's story is screaming at me to be told!

So there we are. That's the next two years of books. Obviously there are two secret project books, but they're secret, so I won't be discussing them until...

Well, one might be announced very soon! ;D
